How do we let go?

It's not enough to know with our minds.

We must remember in our bodies the sweet feeling of release.

The autumn leaf ready to unfurl its hold from its branch doesn't focus on what it will lose.

It looks forward to how it will be held by the soil -

the nutrient gifts it will get to share as it comes undone dancing with the dirt. 

Welcome this autumn season into your bones, sit in a pile of leaves. Let them remind your body the importance of letting go and how. We must remember the sacredness of death and welcome it into our everyday to return to balance. Our world is asking us to take up this task. To undo the myopic focus on "life", doing, productivity. There is an excess build up that is ready to be composted in ourselves and our collective.
