Hello! I’m Kirin Bhatti.

My name translates to “a ray of divine light”. I come from a long lineage of earth based Punjabi healers, mystics, artists and entrepreneurs.

I carry my lineage forward as a playful student and servant of the earth, flowers, and transformation, nurturing a movement of Seasoned Leaders - energetically gifted, attuned, deeply feeling change-makers, leaders, healers, practitioners and organizations curious to learn from the earth, seasons and one another how to deeply transform ourselves in order to restore balance and justice in our communities, earth and systems.

With flowers, nature, ceremony and community as the guide, my clients are able to feel in their bodies how to transform toxic cycles fed by burn-out, fixing, colonial norms and urgency, into life and leadership that regenerates. My medicine is simple yet profound. I welcome you into my heart, into ceremony, into a community of caring humxns, into a breathtaking relationship with the earth and yourself.

How did I get here?

Growing up , I was not aware of my mystical gifts or that I came from an energetically powerful lineage. Colonial forces pushed my ancestors to hide their gifts. Regardless, I was always drawn towards matters of the spirit, keen to the injustice of our world, and enchanted with the beauty of flowers. From a young age I would sit at the Gurdwara with family asking, "If our religion says we are all equal why do men and women sit on opposite sides of the temple?" As an adult, still unaware of my gifts, I began a career as a teacher, non-profit worker, goverment worker keen to support systems change, while simultaneously voraciously hungry to explore my own healing. I would attend spiritual retreats in my spare time, often the only person of color in attendance, asking "How do I use manifestation to dismantle Racism?" and in my activist circles wondering how to lead with forgiveness, joy and beauty, not call out culture while dismantling white supremacy.

I’ve always lived in the margins. A place where you see things others don't.

On my path towards healing and becoming a healer I ached to find teachers that could help me make sense of how to navigate the deep nuanced edge waters of our world and within myself. The oceanic shelf where familiar turquoise blue waters of privileged self help, tradition or rigid activism fell off into a deep abyss.

And After years working across education, government, and social sectors, I began to notice the invisible: how unprocessed pain silently fuels the way we work, lead, and relate. I couldn’t unsee it. I knew the kind of change I longed to be part of had to go deeper, into our bodies, our souls, our lineages, our ecosystems of care.

I sensed I knew how to guide that kind of transformation, and I listened to that sense and started Brownswell.

At that time I serendipitously found a highly gifted teacher, Shayne Case, who helps medicine keepers remember their medicine. Under Shayne’s apprenticeship I remembered what I already knew:

I am a ray of divine light.

At Brownswell, I create containers of beauty, rest, wonder, and connection that help you alchemize what you’ve been holding to survive, so you can embody who you were always meant to be.
